Warm Handoff and Recovery Support Services (WARM) funding will allow organizations to provide peer recovery support services delivered using a warm handoff model to individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD) or polysubstance use disorder who are experiencing a housing transition.
Non-profit, for-profit, and tax-exempt organizations throughout Illinois, particularly in areas disproportionately affected by the opioid crisis, are encouraged to apply.
A total of $6,000,000 is available to be awarded over a period of 3 years to a minimum of 7 organizations. Applicants may apply for up to $300,000 per period of performance.
The anticipated funding periods for this NOFO are as follows:
(1) October 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025
(2) July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026
