OTPP Subaward Announcement

Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) is pleased to announce the 3 organizations that have been awarded funding for the initial period of performance as Opioid Treatment Program Partnerships (OTPP) subrecipients. A total of $9,600,000 has been approved to be distributed across 3 years by the Illinois Opioid Remediation Advisory Board (IORAB) for OTPP services in the state of Illinois.   

OTPP funding will increase access to all forms of Medication Assisted Recovery (MAR) in regions of the state that are not currently served adequately by existing opioid treatment programs (OTPs) and medication units. Subrecipients of OTPP funding will establish a location for OTP services, fulfill all requirements to offer all Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved medications for MAR, form collaborative care partnerships with medical partners, and deliver care according to a collaborative, coordinated model. 

The OTPP subrecipients include the following: 

Remedies Renewing Lives 
Rockford – Remedies Renewing Lives provides substance use treatment, domestic violence, mental health, and human trafficking services. Its primary focus is on Winnebago and Boone Counties. 

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. 

Quincy – Family Guidance Centers, Inc. is a substance use treatment organization offering comprehensive behavioral health programs, including medication-assisted recovery, to individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.  

Healthcare Alternative Systems (HAS)  

Chicago – Healthcare Alternative Systems (HAS) provides a range of programs for substance use, mental health, and family issues, ensuring recovery is accessible to all, regardless of insurance or financial status. Serving nearly 8,000 individuals annually, HAS emphasizes compassion and communal responsibility in its behavioral health approach.
